As one of the most significant national competitions for recognition of advertising excellence, The Aster Awards is a production of Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This venue spots the very best work from an elite group of marketers who serve healthcare professionals.

The 2017 Aster Awards gathered around 3,000 entries from all over the country and international campaigns. Entries were judged by a panel of industry experts and evaluated on many different criteria, including creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.

Campaigns that earned between 85 to 89 points from the judges were awarded a bronze medal for placing amid the nation’s top 16 percent. The next tier of agencies earning 90 to 94 points were awarded a silver medal for placing in the top 12 percent. The highest award was the gold medal, awarded to agencies that scored above 95. These first-tier agencies represent the nation’s top five percent.
