Fort Worth Gourmet Restaurant that Started in a Gas Station Offers Turkeys and All the Fixings
FORT WORTH, TX, November 12, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ — Thousands of Americans relay on mail order to get their Thanksgiving birds. Unfortunately, a Tyler TX-based company that ships birds across the U.S. and is a favorite among celebrities has had to cancel all orders for this season because a fire badly damaged its shipping and freezer facility.
“As a fellow small business owner, I feel for the owner when this type of tragedy occurs,” said Paula Nwaeze, co-owner of Chef Point Restaurant, a gourmet eatery and bar with locations in Watauga and Colleyville, TX that has been featured on Guy Fieri’s Triple D on Food Network.
Chef Point started in a gas station in Watauga, Texas because the bank would not give Paula Nwaeze and her husband Chef Franson a loan for a restaurant because the bank considered it too risky. They would, however, give a loan for a Conoco gas station with a C-store.
The enterprising couple soon converted part of the store to a small café and named it Chef Point. In the early days, Chef Point started offering mouthwatering Thanksgiving turkeys with all the fixings to help the business grow. “Fans of our premade Thanksgiving feasts have made ordering from us a part of their Thanksgiving tradition and that has made the holidays our busiest time of year,” said Nwaeze.
Chef Point has been preparing turkeys, prime rib, baked hams, and whole duck for Thanksgiving pick up for its many fans throughout DFW for 15 years and offers an array of tasty sides including lobster mac and cheese, cornbread sage stuffing, and its famous bread pudding in single servings or half pan size.
The deadline for placing a Thanksgiving Holiday Menu order is Monday, November 23, 2020. To place an order, fill out the easy order form on the Chef Point Restaurant website and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Pickup will be available from Chef Point Restaurant in Watauga or Colleyville on Wednesday, November 25, between 11 am and 5 pm.,” said Nwaeze.
