A group of protesters rallied outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center prior to the Democratic National Convention on Sunday in Philadelphia.

A peaceful protest against Hillary Clinton’s presidential nomination was held on Sunday as a part of the thousand people’s march in the run-up to the Democratic National Convention. More than 50 people took part in the action.

The participants of the anti-Hillary protest had banners and signs reading “Stop Hillary! Stop corruption!”, “Hillary Clinton – Wall Street’s candidate,” and “No to political dynasties in the White House.” They expressed their resentment towards the likely Democratic nominee chanting “Crooked Hillary.”

“She murdered, she lied,” said one of the protesters. “It’s more than just corruption that makes her a criminal.” The activists also remembered the party’s electoral fraud and infamous Clinton’s ties to Wall Street.

The protest was held simultaneously with the larger March for a Clean Energy Revolution during which thousands hit the streets in Philadelphia. Additionally, hundreds of Bernie Sander’s supporters were marching in the light of Debbie Wasserman’s resignation. All these protests are all held ahead the Democratic National Convention which is scheduled at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia July 25th-28th, 2016. The Democratic Convention is dedicated to the formal nomination of the Democratic Party candidates for President and Vice President.  At the Convention, the Party also approves the official Party platform.
