The 8th Annual Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival spans 10 venues with 35 shows happening between October 8-15th, 2023.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 22, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival is back for its 8th year with 35 shows at 10 venues, live streaming workshops and podcasts, plus the Phoenix Day Block Party making for a week-long extravaganza of underground comics from all over the US taking place October 8th-15th, 2023.

This year’s Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival will feature over 100 comics from all over the US who will be entertaining Bay Area audiences with their unique brand of comedy.

Festival Highlights Include:
– 35 stand up comedy shows at 10 venues
– Live streaming workshops and podcasts
– Phoenix Day Block Party – a 3-hour outdoor show in front of the Mutiny Radio storefront at 2781 21st St in the Mission District of San Francisco
– Over 100 comics from Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco and more!

Festival venues include: Alameda Comedy Club, Barbary Coast Dispensary, Gallery-o-rama, OMG!, Hotel Utah Saloon, The BAR on Dolores, Asiento, Atlas Cafe, Mars Bar, and Mutiny Radio.

Hosts include: Joe Hill, Mike Evans Jr., Dan Lewis, Pam Benjamin, Mark Noyer, Emily Rudolph, Loren Kraut, Tony Sparks, Terry Dorsey, Spencer Devine, Ira Summer, Honoton Ortiz and more.

Festival passes are available for $150 which includes access to every show on the lineup and includes a free, limited edition t-shirt (designed by a local comedian on the festival and screenprinted by hand in San Francisco). Individual tickets are also available for anyone who would like to drop in and catch specific show(s).

Mutiny Radio is a collectively run, non-profit, community radio station with a public storefront in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. The organization is a hub for “free speech podcasting, internet streaming and is best known for hosting 7+ weekly comedy open mics where many of San Francisco’s best comedians got their start.

The Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival is the biggest event of its kind in San Francisco and is an affordable way to explore the city while supporting local comedy.
